In Home Consultation

Every project begins with a virtual or an in-home consultation (up to two hours). During this meeting, we tour the space(s) to be designed or renovated and discuss your vision and goals for the project, the timeframe for completion and general budget requirements. Following the initial consultation, you will receive a design fee proposal outlining the scope of work, estimated design fees, an estimated project timeline and terms and conditions.

Design Concept Development

Upon approval of the design fee proposal, we begin the planning and development phase of the project. During this phase, we create a detailed design plan through creation of sketches or renderings, color selection and product sourcing for materials, fixtures, furnishings and accessories. We will also coordinate meetings and/or site visits with any contractors or tradespeople that will be involved in the project. An initial detailed budget is developed during this step.

Design Project Presentation 

In step 3, we meet to present and review all of the details of your custom design. During this meeting, we present the complete design concept including any or all of the following: drawings, digital concept boards, paint and fabric swatches, furniture and accessory selections and a detailed furnishings  budget breakdown including any estimates from our trades. One revision is included. Note: More than one revision may result in changes to budget. A significant change in scope may result in additional billable design hours.

Project Implementation and Management 

During this phase, we collaborate with any vendors or contractors involved in your project and make necessary site visits to ensure a successful process. We also purchase and track orders, coordinate lead times and notify you if product re-selections are needed. All orders are shipped directly to our receiver for inspection prior to delivery. Some custom items such as window treatments may be installed toward the end of this phase and prior to the actual project installation day.

Installation And Project Reveal

This is the big day! New furnishings and accessories will be installed and styled for a beautifully ​finished space. We will walk through your new space(s) and point out the features and any care recommendations for your new items. Installations are typically done in one day, although larger projects may require additional time. 

 

We may professionally photograph your project upon or immediately following installation for use in our design portfolio and for marketing/social media purposes. Note:we will not disclose personal information pertaining to the project (name, project address, etc.) without express written permission).
